Dallas Willard has said, while we talk a lot about following Christ’s commands, “Christians generally don’t have a plan for teaching people to do everything that he commanded.”
This course aims at helping you develop such a plan for spiritual formation.
This course material—anchored in Scripture, tested over time, and hewn in the trenches of discipleship in the church—comes from Chad Harrington’s research, personal experiences, and lessons learned in time. His goal with this course is to help you create an actionable plan to actually become more mature in Christ.
“We can’t become Christ, but we can become like Christ,” says Chad.
This course welcomes you on the journey toward God in Christ, so that you can actually become more like Christ—in order to love God with everything you are.
Each class is approximately 90 minutes.
Note: The videos for this course are currently offered only on our website here (no DVD or other streaming options).
This course was originally taught in person over a period of two months. Each session is 1.5 hours, and can be taken as fast or as slow as you wish.
Plan to spend 2–3 hours per session outside of the class sessions working on the course assignments.
Note: The videos for this course are hosted on our website and currently only accessible through our video course portal. The audio podcast sessions of the same material are available through the course portal upon registration.
We recommend that you use our class workbook to maximize your experience. While it is not required, you will be limited in fully and easily forming your own spiritual formation plan.
